The latest job advertisement for April 2023 by the Ministry
of Defence's Defence Division has opened up several vacancies for individuals

(BPS-14), UDC (BPS-13), LDC (BPS-11), Driver (BPS-04), Naib Qasid (BPS-01), and
Farash (BPS-01), each requiring different levels of responsibilities and
qualifications.
For instance, the Assistant (BPS-15) position involves
performing administrative duties like managing files, conducting research, and
preparing reports, and requires a minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute
along with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
On the other hand, the Stenotypist (BPS-14) role involves
transcribing speeches and dictations, and applicants must have a typing speed
of 80 words per minute and transcribing speed of 40 words per minute.
Similarly, UDCs (BPS-13) are responsible for clerical tasks
like data entry, record-keeping, and filing, and candidates should have an intermediate
education and proficiency in using computer software.
LDCs (BPS-11) also perform clerical duties but at a lower
level than UDCs, and applicants must have a matriculation certificate and
typing skills of at least 30 words per minute.
Furthermore, Drivers (BPS-04) are required to operate
vehicles and transport personnel or goods, and they must have a valid driving
license and a minimum of five years of driving experience.
Lastly, Naib Qasids (BPS-01) and Farashes (BPS-01) carry out
general tasks such as cleaning and running errands, requiring only a primary
education level or equivalent.
